I recently completed the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment, which involves 200 questions with a strict 20-second limit for each. The value of this test is that it doesn’t force you into a rigid ‘personality type.’ Instead, it identifies the five most dominant talents out of 34 that define your unique style of working and making decisions.

Here are my top 5 results:

  • Ideation: A constant drive to generate ideas and connect seemingly disparate concepts.
  • Individualization: An intuitive ability to recognize and adapt to the unique qualities of each person.
  • Strategic: A preference for mapping out various scenarios to identify the most effective path forward.
  • Achiever: The discipline to set high standards and the stamina to meet them.
  • Futuristic: A mindset focused on looking ahead and visualizing future possibilities.

Curious to see who I might share these traits with, I prompted an AI to find famous people with a similar profile. I expected a wide spectrum of names, but the result was exclusively a list of tech billionaires:

  • Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX): Ideation, Strategic, Achiever, Futuristic
  • Jeff Bezos (Amazon): Strategic, Achiever, Individualization
  • Satya Nadella (Microsoft): Strategic, Futuristic, Achiever

It’s interesting that no actors or pop stars appeared—only leaders from the top of the technology world. It suggests a distinct profile for those who build and innovate in this industry.
